Secondary PE Teacher | Littlehampton | Pay to Scale | Temporary
We are recruiting a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Littlehampton. This role is ideal for someone who can inspire a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical and theory lessons that support students of all abilities to develop confidence, teamwork, and strong physical literacy. You will be joining a supportive PE department known for its inclusive ethos, strong extracurricular programme, and commitment to student wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching a broad and balanced PE curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
  • Leading and supporting extracurricular activities.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress in both practical and theory components.
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive sporting environment.
  • Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across a range of sports and physical activities.
  • A passion for promoting physical health, teamwork, and resilience.
