Your new company
You will be joining a major service provider delivering highway maintenance and improvement works across Area 10. Owing to increased workload, we are recruiting Site Supervisors to support a programme of drainage schemes on the strategic road network.
Your new role
As Site Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and efficient delivery of drainage works on live highways. You will:
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to programme and specification.
- Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS is fully implemented.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate site records, and report updates to the delivery team.
- Ensure traffic management is correctly installed and maintained.
- Liaise with internal teams, supply chain partners, and stakeholders to support smooth project delivery.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with CDM and industry standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current National Highways Passport (valid and in date).
- Proven experience supervising highways, drainage, or civil engineering works.
- Strong understanding of site safety, CDM regulations, and traffic management.
- Ability to lead teams and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across Area 10.
Desirable:
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Experience working on highways.
- Knowledge of drainage systems, maintenance techniques, and defect identification would be advantageous.
