Head of Accounts
General bookkeeping, managing and maintenance of company accounts on Microsoft Dynamics 365 software. Tasks will include:
- Checking daily banking transactions and applying to relevant accounts;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Invoicing and maintaining customer accounts and balances;
- Credit control;
- Posting supplier invoices and reconciling balances for payment;
- Supplier payments;
- Performing month end balance checks and postings;
- Quarterly VAT return;
- Monthly payroll;
- Assisting with year end process and provide support to external accountants;
- Other ad-hoc accounts administration as required.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate already familiar with Dynamics 365 - while this is not essential, the successful candidate will be required to quickly adapt to using the system and take a proactive approach to learning its processes.
This is a full time position (35-40 hours per week) at an hourly rate of £15-£18 per hour depending on experience. Upon completion of a 3 month probation this would increase based on overall performance.
