This role is responsible for leading the programme management of a major organisational initiative focused on the coordinated introduction of artificial intelligence tools across both clinical and corporate functions. The position ensures that the programme is delivered effectively through structured planning, strong governance, and collaboration across multiple departments.
The programme manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of several interconnected workstreams while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders, including senior leadership. The role requires a systematic and organised approach to programme governance, reporting, risk management, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the delivery of the Artificial Intelligence and Automation programme, including workstreams such as Digital, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, and Clinical Operations.
Establish and maintain effective governance and decision-making structures to support timely programme delivery.
Implement clear reporting and assurance processes across the programme.
Ensure effective communication between all workstreams and stakeholders regarding timelines, risks, and progress.
Manage dependencies with other organisational programmes and ensure realistic delivery plans are maintained.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks within critical programme pathways.
Work collaboratively with teams to address issues and negotiate solutions between departments.
Prepare and present regular progress reports and high-quality programme documentation to programme boards and leadership teams.
Support project support staff and other stakeholders in coordinating programme activities efficiently.
Lead programme evaluation activities to inform improvements and future decision-making.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across programme workstreams.
Contribute to the development of team capabilities and skills across departments involved in the programme.
Develop exit and transition plans as the programme approaches completion, including contributions to business cases and return-on-investment assessments.
Design and implement training programmes that support the effective use of artificial intelligence tools.
Produce key reports such as benefits realisation plans and continuous improvement strategies.
Develop and maintain an audit framework to ensure appropriate and responsible use of AI technologies.
