What will the Credit Controller role involve?

    • Managing the organisation's credit control processes, including overseeing outstanding debts and developing strategies for effective debt recovery, all while fostering positive relationships with clients and internal teams
    • Proactively engaging with customers via calls, emails, and written correspondence to resolve aged debts, establish payment plans, and minimise overdue accounts
    • Producing detailed debtor reports, analysing debt patterns, and providing insights to senior management to support strategic decisions
    • Overseeing legal recovery procedures, liaising with external solicitors and enforcement agencies, and managing ongoing legal cases related to outstanding debts
    • Contributing to ongoing process improvements, automations, and efficiencies in credit control operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all functions


    Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:

      • Proven experience in credit control or debt management, ideally within a B2B and B2C environment
      • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation
      • Good understanding of credit risk assessment, legal recovery procedures, and debt anomalies related to specific asset classes
      • Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to analyse debt patterns and produce actionable report
      • Resilient, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
