We are looking for an experienced Registered Cluster Care Home Manager to lead two residential services in Ashford, supporting autistic adults to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Our specialist services include residential and supported living, vocational, educational and therapeutic programmes, as well as social and occupational support. THE ROLE AS THE CQC REGISTERED MANAGER,
You will be a visible and proactive leader responsible for the day-to-day management of two services supporting 11 adults. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of care, developing your team and maintaining regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Lead, coach and develop a specialist support team to deliver high-quality care. Ensure high standards of professional practice across both services.
o Manage risk effectively and maintain safe, responsive environments for those we support.
o Act quickly and decisively to resolve challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
o Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and frameworks including the Care Act, Health and Social Care Act, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) and Best Interest processes.
What You'll Be Doing
o Managing two residential services with the support of Assistant Managers, Team Leaders and Specialist Support Staff.
o Overseeing teams working 24/7 on a 3-week rolling rota of early and late shifts.
o Working closely with Senior Management and the Quality & Compliance team to support the organisations quality vision.
o Participating in the on-call rota while maintaining a standard working week of Monday to Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
o Minimum of 5 years experience leading care teams with a strong emphasis on practice leadership.
o Excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks within adult social care.
o Ideally hold a Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
o Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the people we support, families, staff and external stakeholders.

o At least 5 years experience coaching and leading care teams, with a focus on practice leadership
o The ability to respond quickly and effectively to challenges, ensuring safety and positive risk management
o Strong knowledge and experience of regulatory frameworks, including the Care Act, Health and Social Care Act, Safeguarding, DoLS, MCA, capacity, and best interest processes
o Ideally, a Level 5 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
