We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Forest of Dean team! Work in one of the UK’s most stunning forest locations, developing your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests. Sheltered beneath the protective canopy of ancient oak woodland or situated in the open meadow at the forest edge, our cabins at Forest of Dean offer an escape from everyday life in one of Britain’s most amazing forests.
About the Housekeeping Supervisor Role
As our Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Open all year round, you’ll oversee a set number of cabins on each changeover day, guiding and supporting the housekeeping team to maintain our high brand standards of cleanliness and presentation.
You’ll lead by example, motivating your team, ensuring every cabin is spotless, and helping create that unforgettable Forest Feeling that keeps guests returning time after time.
Your Responsibilities
➡️Providing support and motivation to the Housekeeping Team to ensure high morale and productivity
➡️ Delivering training to ensure all team members meet our brand standards
➡️ Ensuring each cabin is correctly stocked and beautifully presented
➡️Conducting health and safety checks, such as smoke alarm and fire extinguisher inspections
➡️Monitoring and maintaining quality standards across all cabins
➡️ Assisting with daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient changeovers

We’re looking for someone with:
✅ Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role (essential)
✅ Experience leading or supervising a team
✅ A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
✅ Great communication and teamwork skills
✅ A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards
✅ Motivation to work outdoors in a forest environment, rain or shine
✅ A passion for hospitality and the great outdoors
