Electrical Engineer – days only - Doncaster – up to £40k + overtime + expenses.
Overview:
Our client is an engineering business that supply machinery and equipment to customers across the UK and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on service environment, supporting customers through the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of specialist equipment. We would like to hear from you if you are an experienced electrical engineer happy to work in house and on customers’ sites.
The role:
Working closely with customers, engineering and production teams in a role where technical expertise, safety and customer satisfaction genuinely matter. It’s an ideal role for an electrical engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working on site, installing, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding on electrical systems and equipment. The role supports operational delivery by ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably and in line with customer and business requirements.
Requirements:
It is essential that applicants have a recognised electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent) along with proven experience in an electrical service, installation or maintenance role. You will have experience working with machinery, control panels or automation systems and the ability to fault-find on industrial or commercial electrical systems. Ideally you will have completed 18th Edition and have commissioning experience.
Benefits:
Salary: As well as a salary of up to £40k, depending on experience, skills and abilities, the electrical engineer can expect overtime to be paid at x1.5 over 40 hours and x2 on Sundays, with all expenses paid plus:
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm, finishing at 4.30pm on Fridays.
Holidays: Up to 34 inc. over 5 years (20 days plus your birthday, plus bank holidays and an additional day for every completed 12 mths of the holiday calendar year, up to a maximum of 25 Days).
Extras: Regular company social events, including a summer BBQ, Christmas brunch etc.
