Crynodeb
Collect data contemporaneously along the patient pathway collecting data on presentation, treatment and outcomes. Post-holder will be required to enter data into REDCap, BAOMS QOMS databases as guided by clinical teams. Collect and manage patient information from surgeons, patient notes and Trust data recording systems (e.g. pathology, radiology, outpatients, bookings, PPM database etc) Ensure data from all patients eligible to be included in QOMS is collected / checking patients have not opted-out / withdrawn. Arrange weekly meeting with Local Lead Surgeon for QOMS to review data collection, missing data and queries. Working closely with Local Lead Surgeon for QOMS to ensure the appropriate implementation of the project locally. Communicate with a range of clinical and non-clinical staff. Deal with all telephone calls or emails in a sensitive, polite and professional manner, dealing with or re-directing issues as appropriate. Prioritise all incoming messages and requests, investigating and dealing with as many as possible and bringing others to the attention of the appropriate person in a suitable timescale.
