Help make adventure accessible
We are a small, ambitious charity empowering visually impaired adults through adventurous activities including hiking, climbing, tandem cycling, caving, canoeing and open water swimming, delivered mainly through residential weekends.
We are seeking a Business Operations Lead to help ensure our organisation runs smoothly, sustainably and compliantly, enabling our team to deliver life-changing experiences safely and effectively.
This varied, hands-on role works closely with Trustees and oversees:
• Financial management (budgeting, cash flow, payroll and reporting)
• Governance, compliance and risk management
• Operational systems (bookings, invoices and communication with clients)
• HR administration and admin team management
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience in financial management and budgeting
• Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Understands governance, compliance and risk management
• Can work independently in a small, collaborative team
• Shares our commitment to inclusion and empowering visually impaired adults
Experience in the charity sector, safeguarding, health & safety, or outdoor/residential programmes would be welcome but is not essential.
This is an opportunity to take on real responsibility in a purpose-driven organisation where your work directly supports transformative experiences.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and we reserve the right to close early, so early application is encouraged.
