We are seeking a Technical Support Officer with a full driving licence to join our Commercial Estates Management Team. The main function of the role will be to assist in the management of the Council’s Tenant Investment Portfolio dealing with various property management issues such as preparing property details, the management and marketing of empty units, debt recovery, repair coordination, and showing potential tenants around vacant commercial units .
Support will include being the first point of contact for all enquiries, organising repairs, viewings and updating Council property Records. The successful candidate will also be the first response, mainly over the telephone, to some requests for service giving basic advice on issues such as repairs, rental payments, property availability and will be required to visit site alone or to accompany officers as required.
You will need to have a good standard of general education, including good, applied literacy and numeracy, be competent in excel and have experience of working in a property environment, although knowledge of commercial Landlord and Tenant is not essential as training will be given.
