Mitie is looking for a professional and polished Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You will be the first point of contact for all guests and colleagues, delivering a 5-star service and ensuring a warm, efficient, and secure welcome to the site.

Key Responsibilities

-Meet and greet visitors, ensuring smooth and timely check-in.

-Communicate with internal teams via email/phone and support their requests.

-Maintain accurate guest records and building knowledge.

-Provide proactive visual checks of communal areas and report issues via the FM Helpdesk.

-Support colleagues across the FM team and promote best practice.

-Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and security procedures at all times.

About You

-Well-presented, professional, and customer-focused.

-Confident communicator with strong attention to detail.

-Flexible, reliable, and proactive in your approach.

-Knowledge of local transport and amenities is an advantage.

The hours will be 40 hours a week -but will need to be flexible to accomodate holiday and sick leave within your team. (9.30 am to 17.30)

Essential Requirements
-Professional appearance and well‑groomed at all times (front-of-house standard).

-Excellent customer service skills with a warm, welcoming manner.

-Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for speaking with visitors, staff, and internal teams.

-Ability to multitask and manage a busy reception area efficiently.

-Attention to detail when checking visitors in and maintaining accurate records.

-Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support business needs.

-Comfortable using email, phone systems, and visitor management software.

-Understanding of basic Health & Safety and site security protocols.

-Ability to work well within the wider FM team and support colleagues proactively.
