Summary

Overview:
Are you a qualified and compassionate spa therapist with a passion for supporting women's wellness? We’re launching a new spa and wellbeing centre with a unique focus on new mothers and babies, and we’re looking for talented therapists to join us during our exciting launch phase.

About Us:
We are building a calming and luxurious space where mothers can recharge, relax, and feel cared for — with on-site childcare allowing them to enjoy much-needed time to themselves. Our services are also open to the wider public, but our core mission is to support postnatal wellness.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Spa Therapist to play a key role in the initial setup and ongoing delivery of Spa services. The right candidate should be able to provide a range of treatments including:

Postnatal massage
Aromatherapy
Facials
Relaxation treatments
(Optional) Baby massage or parent-baby wellness sessions
This is a hands-on Leadership role, idea for someone who has previously supported the launch of spa operations.

Responsibilities:
Support the initial setup of spa services, treatments, lead and supervise the spa team to ensure exceptional service delivery and maintain high standards of treatment quality.
Deliver exceptional treatments and lead by example .
Contribute to treatment menus, protocols and services standards
Manage front desk operations, including booking appointments, greeting guests, and handling enquiries with professionalism.
Oversee social media management to promote spa services, special offers, and events to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Upsell additional treatments and products to maximise revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Deliver personalised guest services that exceed expectations, fostering loyalty and positive reviews.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene standards, and treatment room organisation in accordance with health regulations.
Assist with training junior therapists and providing mentorship to foster professional development within the team.
Handle guest feedback effectively to resolve issues promptly and improve overall service quality.
Support administrative tasks such as stock management and scheduling to ensure seamless daily operations.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification
Insurance and right to work as a self-employed practitioner (For freelance)
Experience with postnatal clients or women's wellness is highly desirable
Any experience with baby massage or infant wellbeing is a bonus
Professional, reliable, and caring with proven experience as a Spa Therapist with a strong portfolio of treatments
Demonstrable management skills with previous leadership or supervisory roles within a spa or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members alike.
Strong social media management skills to promote services effectively across various platforms.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
Knowledge of guest services best practices within a luxury setting.
Ability to upsell treatments and products tactfully while maintaining guest satisfaction.
Organised with good attention to detail in all aspects of treatment delivery and administrative duties. This role offers an inspiring environment for passionate professionals eager to advance their career in the wellness industry while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
