Crynodeb
The SDLD plays a key role in shaping digital learning within the college, they provide expert pedagogic advice, guidance, and co-design support to ensure digital learning meets the needs.
Bridging strategy and practice, the SDLD leads initiatives and projects that enhance digital education. Working closely with the Digital Learning Manager to translate institutional and college priorities into best-practice learning experiences across all three colleges.
The vision is that we enable every student to achieve their personal learning and career goals through working effectively in partnership, to integrate our expertise and resources in digital learning, career development and academic skills seamlessly into their programme learning experience
The focus of the work in Education Services is to:
• Ensure that learning environments, both physical and digital, are effective, accessible and inclusive
• Encourage and support the utilisation of cutting-edge educational technology
• Develop and deliver academic and career development skills resources and learning experiences
• Support to academic teams in the design and delivery of programmes and learning

This is a part time, temporary post (maternity cover), working 30 hours per week.
This post is available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part time.
This role is campus based with some opportunity for remote/home working.
