We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy timber manufacturing facility based in Rochdale. The role involves working within a fast-paced production environment assembling timber components used within the construction industry.
This is a long-term ongoing position with consistent hours and early finishes on Fridays.
Working Hours- Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
- 45-minute unpaid lunch break
- £12.21 per hour

- Assembling timber components used within the construction industry
- Measuring, cutting, and positioning materials accurately
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Following basic technical drawings and job sheets
- Operating production machinery safely
- Maintaining quality standards during manufacturing
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or production environments is beneficial
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ongoing work
- Early finish every Friday
