Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly & Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established manufacturer based in Rochdale. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a hands-on individual looking to develop their skills within a specialist engineering environment.
Working as part of a small, skilled production team, you will assist in the manufacture of high-quality automated door systems supplied to residential and commercial installers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Building and assembling steel side track sets
• Cutting and assembling panels to precise size and specification
• Operating hand tools including drills, routers, saws, and rivet guns
• Cutting and heating steel springs
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
• Confident using hand tools and automated machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Good attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
