Events Assistant
Salary: £24,471 per annum (Full Time)
Loughborough Hybrid (Minimum 3 days working in the office)

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your event planning and administration skills? The Youth Sport Trust is seeking an Events Assistant to support our flagship events, conferences and residential events.

As an independent charity devoted to changing young people’s lives through PE and sport, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission. You will join a busy team of three, providing event and project planning to support to the National Events Manager and Events Officer, gaining hands-on experience in delivering large-scale events.

This is a varied role where you will support all aspects of event planning and administration from booking venues and arranging equipment and logistics, through to attending events and the team to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day. The role offers a fantastic opportunity to build your experience while being directly involved in delivering high-quality events for the charity.

We are looking for a strong administrator with excellent PC skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce simple reports. You will have strong communication skills and be able to build effective working relationships to achieve shared goals. Experience of using a CRM system would be advantageous. You will enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in delivering excellent results, and be willing to travel to and attend events away from home when required.

As part of the team, you will feel connected to our mission and experience a role that offers fun, challenge and fulfilment. Our values underpin everything we do, and we are proud of a culture that encourages innovation, creativity and personal passion. In addition, we offer a generous annual leave entitlement, health cash plan, employee assistance programme and volunteering days.

If you are excited by the prospect of supporting millions of young people across the country to take part in more competitive school sport, we would like to hear from you. To apply please visit our careers page careers.youthsporttrust.org to complete an online application.

The Youth Sport Trust believes that diversity drives excellence and that representation is important. The Youth Sport Trust therefore positively welcomes and seeks to ensure we achieve diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment. We encourage applications from all candidates regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
