Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery and administration of grant schemes within a public sector environment. This is a 12‑month contract offering the opportunity to make a measurable impact by managing funding initiatives that support community, economic, and sector development.
- Lead end‑to‑end management of grant schemes, including development, launch, administration, monitoring, and close‑down.
- Ensure all grant processes meet governance, audit, and compliance standards.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across internal teams, partner agencies, and external applicants.
- Track project milestones, analyse data, and produce clear progress updates and reports for senior leadership.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Oversee financial administration of grant programmes, including budget monitoring and payment scheduling.
- Support continuous improvement by reviewing processes and recommending enhancements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience delivering projects within public sector and/or local government settings.
- Prior involvement in the administration and management of grant funding schemes is essential.
- Strong understanding of public sector governance, compliance frameworks, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and adapt within a fast‑paced environment.
- Confident analysing data, preparing reports, and presenting updates to stakeholders.
