Llandovery Families Together Group
Based in Ysgol Rhys Pritchard,
Must be available Thursday Mornings
Required to facilitate a Families Together Group Thursday mornings plus time for admin/planning
4.5 hours a week
£2975 per annum
Experience of working with families is essential.
As a group facilitator you will support the facilitation of a range of services and activities in the groups for families with children aged 11 and under.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To be an integral part of the Plant Dewi Team.
To create an informal, safe, warm and welcoming environment for parents and their children.
To encourage social interaction within the group.
To provide a range of activities in line with the ethos and outcomes of families together groups.
To understand the perimeters of Plant Dewi’s family support service.
To report any issues of concern to the Project Worker.
To provide creche facilities when appropriate, to enable parents to attend courses.
To monitor and evaluate the activities on a regular basis.
To ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.
To ensure that all relevant health and safety measures, equal opportunities objectives, and anti-discriminatory practices are implemented and adhered to.
To adhere to Plant Dewi’s Employee Handbook and all policies and management procedures.
To keep appropriate records and complete appropriate paperwork.
To consult and co-operate with the line manager, providing regular reports both written and verbal.
To undertake relevant training/development opportunities.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as may be appropriate or as directed by the line manager.
To be a champion for the Plant Dewi mission and vision, which are rooted in its Christian values of showing love, kindness and hospitality to those in need, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with principles of equality of opportunity.
