The Role:
• To support a 27-year-old gentleman who has spinal muscular dystrophy and is wheelchair dependent with support within the home and community alongside his small team of PA’s.

Main Duties:
• Personal Care
• Hoisting (training will be given)
• Medication – Administer (Training will be given)
• Peg Feeding (Training will be given)
• Ventilator (Training will be given)
• Suction (Training will be given)
• Access the community by using employer's car for shopping, appointments and meeting family and friends
• Drives out
• Trips to the beach
• Cinema trips

Personal Qualities and Attributes required:

• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Must 21 years or over for insurance reasons
• Must like cats

FOR EMPLOYED: Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
FOR SE: Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate.

Hours:
• 4 days per week to be worked –
• Monday & Tuesday 12.00pm – 5.00pm
• Friday – 7.00am – 8.00pm
• Saturday – 8.00am – 8.00pm
• Hours can be negotiated slightly

Pay:
£13.14 per hour – Employed
£18.00 per hour – Self - Employed
