Murphy is recruiting for a People System Team Manager ( SuccessFactor) to work with IT team at Leeds

The People Systems Team Manager reports to the Head of Business Systems and is accountable for Murphy’s People systems operations and continual service improvement. Helping to develop and produce People Management information to assist the business in increasing efficiency and productivity and enable proactive People support.
A day in the life of a Murphy People Systems Manger ( Successfactor)
- Ownership of People Systems within the Murphy Group, including Success Factors, Megapay, UKG, Donseed Aurora and any associated systems (e.g. P11D applications).
- Ensure the ongoing sharing of best practice and up-skilling of People Team members Group wide, travelling to Operational Units as required.
- Develop and manage the People Systems programme of work with regular programme status communication to the wider programme stakeholders and the overall business;
- Proactively and continuously identify dependencies among the projects, identify risks and mitigation solutions, through monthly status calls with internal stakeholders.
- Support the wider People community in delivering technical solutions to business processes whether they are cyclical such as on-line appraisals and compensation or whether ad hoc support such as reporting and MI;Take the lead as the
- People systems representative when liaising with other support functions particularly with Procurement, Finance and within the IT team;
- Manage internal People Systems stakeholders ensuring communication is clear and timely across the organisation as required;
- Be responsible for maintenance, quality and consistency of People data, including changing configurations and workflows.
- Troubleshoot, analyse, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
- Be able to support other members of the People/end-user community by providing “how-to-do” type of support – act as primary key contact for People systems for all Murphy users;
- Liaise with Murphy IT team to escalate technical issues and ensure that appropriate solution is found or issue further escalation to vendor, if needed;
- Work closely with Murphy IT to review and assess impact of new People systems upgrades – to find ways of limiting the risks involved in introducing new system upgrades and following the IT change processes.
- Responsible for developing, standardising and maintaining all People reports which will provide management with information on compliance, operational effectiveness and people management e.g. headcount, turnover, performance,absence and more;
- Create and continuously maintain the necessary system governance documentation;
- Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management
- Manage third parties and suppliers in terms of relationships, service delivery, budget and cost control;
- Liaise with the system supplier to book the appropriate consultancy services required to carry out the necessary system changes;
- Management of the People systems team members, provide development, guidance and support to the team to carry out efficient system support;
- Work in the spirit of the company’s Investors in People accreditation, contributing to best practice.

- Must have previous experience in a senior HR systems analyst or management information role.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certified and knowledge or certification in other modules
- Knowledge of HR policies, guidelines and workforce trends
- Business analysis and stakeholder management experience with People and Payroll teams, with knowledge of how to successfully plan and execute agreed work.
- Experience of using report writing tools such as PowerBI
- Experience of using and developing modern HR systems with self-service functionality and the associated reporting.
- Maintain system and process documentation, including development of relevant guidance notes and delivery of training to core HR team and/or self-service users
- Ability to manage and build relationship with diverse stakeholders
