Summary

Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 180 years, and have developed a national and international reputation based on the achievements of our students and staff.

The HR Officer will assist in the day-to-day running of the Human Resource area, taking a lead role on the HR MIS issues including maintaining and enhancing the day-to-day functionalities of the Civica HR System, extracting information for management reports and working on the HESA staff return. The role also provides support to colleagues across a range of administrative issues on an ad hoc basis to support workloads.

Candidates should be educated to degree level, and be able to demonstrate proven working experience of using, maintaining, developing and extracting information from IT systems for Management Information purposes; extensive experience in a work environment in using the Microsoft Office suite including Excel to an Intermediate level; and working experience of producing and analysing statistical data and producing reports based on that data. Experience in a HR Office is preferred. A full list of the essential criteria can be found in the job description.
