A personal assistant is required for our kind, curious and energetic 12-year-old son.
He’s got a diagnosis of autism and epilepsy. He's a joy to be around and enjoys going out on adventures as long as he is aware of what's involved and is well prepared.
Living in the Hayle area.
We're after an attuned person who has experience in looking after children with special needs and epilepsy although epilepsy awareness training will be given.
The ideal individual will assist our son in developing his independence and social skills.
The role involves approximately 4 hours per week, ideally during weekends with a potential for more hours in the school holidays.
£12.60 per hour plus 45p per mile mileage - business class insurance needed
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All offers of employment will be subject to the successful candidate undertaking an enhanced DBS check, the administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
