The Education Training Collective (Etc.) is a dynamic and forward-thinking group of colleges and training providers, including Stockton Riverside College, Redcar and Cleveland College, Bede Sixth Form College, NETA Training Group and Innersummit. Together, we deliver high-quality education and skills training across the Tees Valley.
We are proud to announce that we have recently been awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted, highlighting the exceptional support, teaching and opportunities we provide to help out students thrive. As we continue to build on this success, there has never been a more exciting time to join our team and make a real difference.
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Coordinator to support the important work being done by Tees Valley colleges and the Net Zero Skills Consortium to deliver the skills and training needed by employers in our region, providing a clear and effective pathway to support the industrial resurgence of our area.
This Coordinator will be based in the Tees Valley, and will provide dedicated administrative support to the Regional Skills Consortium and act as the primary administrative partner to the Chairs of the Leadership, Skills and Employers Groups.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver high‑quality admin support to the Regional Skills Consortium and Group Chairs.
Run all meetings: agendas, minutes, actions, documentation.
Maintain shared systems and records for smooth cross‑regional working.
Administer the apprentice grant enrichment fund.
Be the main contact for colleagues, partners, employers and providers.
Organise logistics for visits, events and regional activities.
Coordinate with external partners to gather info and support delivery.
Ensure all admin processes meet governance and compliance standards.
The Type of Person You Will Be:
You’ll be a highly organised, detail‑driven professional who thrives in a busy, fast‑paced environment. Confident using Microsoft 365 to an excellent standard, you’re comfortable handling multiple tasks, taking clear and accurate minutes, and keeping systems and processes running smoothly.
You work well on your own initiative, stay calm under pressure and know how to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines. Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to liaise professionally with a wide range of colleagues, partners, employers and stakeholders.
Discretion and confidentiality come naturally to you, and you’re committed to creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all learners. You value equality, diversity and safeguarding, and actively support these principles in everything you do.
Please note, there will be a week of classroom learning as part of the recruitment process as this is a Bespoke Employer-Led Programme, therefore while experience in a similar role or department would be an advantage, it is not essential.
Important dates:
Thursday 26th March – Induction
Friday 27th March – programme start date
Monday 30th March – Thursday 2nd April – classroom sessions
w/c 13th April – interviews at Stockton Riverside College
