Luma Education Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support and guide pupils of all abilities, including SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them thrive every day in a positive, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities as Learning Support Assistant:
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Implement behaviour strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach experience desirable but not essential)
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
Requirements:
Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments
Positive, encouraging attitude to help children reach their potential
School or youth work experience
Confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs
Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
