What will a day in the life of a Casual Service Support Worker involve?
Providing practical and emotional assistance to people in their own homes.
Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing and medication support.
Supporting service users with household tasks, meal preparation and shopping.
Encouraging and promoting independence, enabling individuals to maintain their hobbies and interests.
Building positive relationships with service users, their families and other healthcare professionals.
Ensuring all care documentation is accurate and up to date.
What does it take to be a successful Casual Service Support Worker?
Right to work in the UK, unfortunately sponsorship is not available for this role.
Previous experience in a similar care, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting.
Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of person-centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
