Master is part of the Leonardo Hotels Group, specializing in premium serviced apartments for business and leisure travelers, located in prime city-center locations in Israel and across Europe. We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and positive maintenance specialist to join our team in the City of London.
The role covers three nearby buildings within walking distance. You must be proactive and willing to move between these different sites throughout the day to ensure all maintenance needs are met promptly.
As a Maintenance Specialist for Serviced Apartments, you'll be the backbone of the team as you'll be working with the Operations Manager to inspire and motivate your colleagues, ensuring that all guests have memorable experiences with us. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! You'll be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance tasks and general health and safety requirements and inspiring a vibrant team to exceed our guests' expectations.
If you're our ideal Maintenance Specialist, you will:
* Be yourself!
* Have proven experience in a similar role within Hospitality
* Have proven ability in one or more of the following skills: electrical, plumbing, carpentry
* Be a great communicator: you'll be working with other departments within the hotel to ensure all facilities are to the high Leonardo standard
* Motivate the team and coach new team members.
Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance: General maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Guest Service: Handling guest maintenance requests quickly and professionally.
- Preventive Care: Preventive maintenance of apartments and common areas.
- Teamwork: Working closely with operations and housekeeping teams.
Requirements
- Experience: Experience in hotels or serviced apartments.
- Technical Skills: Strong all-round handyman skills (multi-trade preferred).
- Emergency Management: Strong understanding of business continuity, fire procedures, and emergency management procedures.
- Mobility: Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites and move between them during the day.
- Soft Skills: Positive, guest-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Good English.
