Brookfield Community School is seeking to appoint an exceptional and dynamic Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral) to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a key leadership position for an individual with the expertise, drive and moral purpose to lead behaviour, culture, rewards, student leadership and the wider pastoral culture across the school.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership ability. They will be expected to strengthen behaviour systems and cultivate a calm, aspirational and supportive environment in which all students can thrive.
About the Role
As Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral), you will:
• Strategic leadership of behaviour, pastoral systems and teams
• Leadership of behaviour and culture
• Rewards systems
• Student leadership
• Teaching commitment and wider leadership responsibilities

• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive whole-school improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire staff, students and parent/carers.
