Quality Assurance Technician
Hastings, East Sussex
Reporting to: Technical Lead
Contract: Full-time/permanent/onsite
FTE salary: From £25k per annum (depending on experience)
The Role
We are looking for a hands on, detail focused Quality Assurance Technician to support our clients Technical Lead and help maintain high manufacturing standards. You will carry out line set up checks, complete in process quality inspections, record testing results and support with job specifications and batch documentation.
About You
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, quality or technical role (cosmetics, FMCG or food desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicating with production teams.
- Organised, reliable and comfortable following procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Complete line set up checks and in process quality inspections.
- Record testing results accurately and maintain quality documentation.
- Support with writing and updating job specs and batch records.
- Work closely with Production to ensure products meet required standards.
- Report non conformances and support root cause investigations.
- Follow GMP and contribute to a strong quality culture on site.
