Assisting, as necessary, with the design of traffic engineering measures, including road safety, traffic management and parking studies.
Contributing to the preparation of traffic sign design and schedules.
You will assist in ensuring schemes comply with the Local Transport Plan and supplementary documents, and you will assist with the drafting of Speed Limit Traffic Regulation Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This will involve, for example, the ordering of replacement street nameplates, liaising with manufacturers and contractors.
