What You'll Be Doing

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn how to run your own 360° recruitment desk - building relationships, winning business and matching talented candidates with brilliant clients.

You'll receive full training from day one and will quickly take on responsibilities such as:

Business Development

  • Prospecting new clients via phone, email, social media & meetings
  • Promoting Hunter Selection's services and unique selling points
  • Negotiating commercial terms

Client & Candidate Management

  • Taking detailed vacancy briefs
  • Building long‑lasting client partnerships
  • Advertising roles, sourcing talent and using our tools, databases & networks
  • Interviewing and assessing candidates
  • Managing interviews, feedback and the offer process
  • Ensuring smooth communication until placement

Organisation & Quality

  • Following structured processes to ensure high-quality service
  • Maintaining accurate records and using internal systems effectively
  • Upholding professional standards across all social media activity

You'll also have the chance to get involved in internal improvement projects and initiatives as you grow.
