We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager (Nurse) to join a well-established, supportive care home in Olney. This is a senior clinical leadership role for a registered nurse who is confident balancing hands-on clinical practice with operational and managerial responsibility.

Working Pattern:
40 hours per week (Days)
Will be required to pick up additional shifts when needed
Weekend working required on a rota basis
Shared on-call responsibilities with the Home Manager
Occasional night visits as required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and promote high standards of person-centred care
Lead clinical practice and act as a role model for nursing and care teams
Complete clinical audits, safeguarding processes, and CQC notifications
Support regulatory compliance and quality governance
Manage agency usage and staffing coordination
Lead and support recruitment and onboarding
Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance management
Ensure training compliance across the service
Carry out assessments, show rounds, and admissions
Oversee care plans and risk assessments (writing, reviewing, managing)
Ensure safe and effective medication management
Maintain accurate documentation in line with NMC, GDPR, and company policies
Liaise with external professionals and multidisciplinary teams
Support operational management alongside the Home Manager
Promote resident wellbeing and engagement in activities
About You:
Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
Must have previous Deputy Manager experience
Ideally RGN
Strong leadership, organisational, and clinical skills
Confident in governance, compliance, and operational management
Professional, proactive, and supportive leadership style
Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Must be a driver with access to a car
