Location: Sheffield (S)
Job Type: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £50,000
Recently received an ‘All Good’ CQC rating. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse Deputy Manager to join a care provider that offers genuine progression and has a long-serving manager.
The Role
As Nurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager with the effective daily running of the service and lead a team of nursing and care professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting the nursing and care team to ensure the medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs of residents are met
Providing strong, inspirational leadership to maintain high care standards and drive continuous improvement
Overseeing all clinical elements, including risk management and safe practice
Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal clinical governance
Supervising the Nursing Team to ensure timely, accurate care planning and risk assessments

About the Service
The care home supports adults living with complex mental health needs, neurological conditions such as brain injuries and stroke, and physical disabilities. The clinical team is also trained in tracheostomy and ventilated care.
About You
We’re looking for someone who shares values of integrity, teamwork, responsiveness and high-quality care.
You must have:
First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN
Minimum of three years post-registration experience
Previous leadership, management or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of nursing best practice
Excellent clinical and digital skills
A proactive, motivational and positive leadership style
Outstanding communication skills
This role is perfect for a Senior Registered Nurse seeking progression into a management position.
