Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) | SEN Support | Long-Term Role
We are a specialist education recruitment agency recruiting on behalf of a supportive and inclusive school in Penzance seeking an experienced SEN HLTA to join their team for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive HLTA who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve positive learning outcomes.

The Role
• Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities.
• Lead small group and whole-class sessions when required.
• Work closely with class teachers, SENCo, and support staff.
• Support pupils’ academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour.
• Adapt learning resources to meet individual learning needs.

Essential Requirements
• HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties).
• Confidence leading learning activities independently.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Available for immediate start.
• Right to work in the UK.
