Crynodeb
We are currently looking for three co-opted governors to join our federated governing board of three local authority maintained nursery schools. This is comprised of Blagdon Nursery School in Whitley, and Caversham Nursery School and New Bridge Nursery School in Caversham.
We have five full governing board meetings a year and they take place on Wednesdays at 6.15pm held at New Bridge. We only have one committee that meets regularly and this is for finance. They also have five meetings a year and they take place at Blagdon starting at 4.15pm. We also have a Strategic Planning Meeting in July which commences at 9.30am and finishes at 2.00pm
Meetings are normally held in person. We have a varied and committed governing board and mentorship would available, together with a training programme.
We are particularly looking for someone with experience in education and training, especially early years or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to augment our board.
