About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join a progressive and fast-paced IT Services team. Reporting to the Head of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure, this role is central to strengthening and maintaining the organisation’s overall security posture.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality digital services, while supporting users in a dynamic, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily cybersecurity operations, delegating tasks and supporting team members where required.

Investigate, analyse, and resolve cybersecurity incidents within time-sensitive environments.

Monitor multiple threat intelligence sources to identify emerging risks, trends, and vulnerabilities, recommending proactive mitigation strategies.

Implement and maintain security risk management and assurance processes, aligned with recognised security control frameworks.

Support and promote the secure adoption and use of AI-enabled systems and cybersecurity tools.

Essential Requirements

Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Proven hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations.

Strong understanding of security risk management, governance, and assurance frameworks.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Ability to remain composed and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
