What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA3) to join our effective Learning Support department and support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs.

Reporting to the Deputy SENCo and based in the ‘HUB provision’ the specialist TA3 will work closely with students to support their learning experience throughout the day across curriculum areas and during social times. You will be working with students with Specific Educational Needs in areas relating to SEMH. Specific vulnerable groups of focus will include those with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Attention Deficit Disorder, Anxiety and Looked After Children (CLA).

We are seeking to appoint a colleague with initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work positively with some our most vulnerable students. Experience of working with students from a vulnerable background (SEN/Behaviour/Illness) is essential.
