Link3 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing Qualified Teacher to join a vibrant SEN Unit within a small, inclusive primary school near Oadby, Leicestershire.

The SEN Unit is a vital and highly respected part of the school community, supporting pupils with a range of communication and interaction needs, including ASD, and ensuring they are given every opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.
The Role•
Teaching a small, specialist class of pupils with communication/interaction needs and ASD
•
Pupils are developmentally working at approximately 2 years–Reception level
•
Creating a safe, engaging and highly supportive learning environment
•
Working closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team
•
Delivering a creative, play-based and child-centred curriculum tailored to individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
•
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
•
Has a passion for SEND and inclusive education
•
Is patient, flexible, caring and reflective in their practice
•
Experience with ASD/SEN is desirable but not essential – the right attitude is key
•
Able to commit from Easter until the end of the academic year
