Location: Small, welcoming 1-form entry primary school near Oadby
Start Date: After Easter
Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered for the right candidate)

Link3 Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and nurturing Qualified Teacher to join a vibrant SEN Unit within a small, inclusive primary school near Oadby, Leicestershire.

This school prides itself on being a place where every child is valued, supported and inspired to flourish. The SEN Unit is a vital and highly respected part of the school community, supporting pupils with a range of communication and interaction needs, including ASD, and ensuring they are given every opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.

The Role

Teaching a small, specialist class of pupils with communication/interaction needs and ASD


Pupils are developmentally working at approximately 2 years–Reception level


Creating a safe, engaging and highly supportive learning environment


Working closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team


Delivering a creative, play-based and child-centred curriculum tailored to individual needs


‍ The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


Has a passion for SEND and inclusive education


Is patient, flexible, caring and reflective in their practice


Experience with ASD/SEN is desirable but not essential – the right attitude is key


Able to commit from Easter until the end of the academic year
