We are seeking an experienced and capable deputy manager to help lead a well-established residential care home supporting older people living with dementia.
This is not a “support role” in name only. You will be trusted to run the service in the manager's absence, lead shifts with authority, and ensure standards never drop, not for a moment.

If you’re confident, decisive, and take pride in delivering high-quality dementia care, we want to hear from you.

Your Role
As Deputy Manager, you will:
• Support the Registered Manager in the overall leadership of the home
• Take full responsibility for shift leadership and day-to-day operations
• Lead, mentor and hold staff accountable to high standards
• Ensure person-centred dementia care is delivered consistently
• Maintain full compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments and accurate documentation
• Promote a safe, dignified and compassionate environment for residents
• Build strong relationships with families and external professionals

What We’re Looking For
• Proven managerial experience within a residential care home
• Direct experience supporting older people living with dementia
• Minimum Level 4 NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection standards
• Confident decision-maker who can manage incidents and challenges calmly
• Professional, reliable and an excellent communicator
