**6 Month Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join our team, supporting an effective recruitment and human resources service for doctors within the Trust.

The Medical Workforce team is responsible for ensuring the timely recruitment of medical staff of all grades, obtaining locum cover and providing a general human resources service for doctors employed by the Trust.

We fully support agile working so after an initial period of training a combination of working from home and office-based working can be arranged.

The Medical Workforce team is based on our Rouen Road offices.

As post holder your role will be varied with a particular emphasis on supporting the team with:
• Greeting visitors to the department
• First point of contact to the department
• Undertaking recruitment checks and assisting with onboarding administration
• Administration support for Medical Workforce Advisors
• Data input using the Electronic Staff Record system (ESR)
• Processing invoices and expenses for payment
• Inputting adverts on the TRAC recruitment system

Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with a methodical approach along with high attention to detail. Previous experience in HR, recruitment would be advantageous, but we would also love to hear from any candidates with relevant transferable skills.

• Administer, support and co-ordinate recruitment processes as required.
• Arrange, attend and / or support interview panels with the aim of recruiting high calibre medical staff in the appropriate manner, dependent upon the post to be recruited to.
• Completion of administrative work and post appointment care in support of Medical Workforce Advisors and Assistant Medical Workforce Managers.
• Provide support to the Locum Recruitment Officer and Medical Placements Co-ordinator, as and when required.
• Input and maintain all vacancies on the NHS Jobs and Trac recruitment system including processing all requests for shortlisting.
• Cover for other members of Medical Workforce team as appropriate.
• Reception, Filing and general office duties. Process claims and associated expenses in accordance with the Trust’s standing financial instructions and Terms and Conditions of Employment for Medical Staff.
• Inputting new starters onto Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
• Terminating and extending medical staffing assignments on Electronic Staff Record.
• Completing ESR2 and ESR3 payroll documentation accurately including employment details such as salary and banding.
