Job Description:
The Home:
This home is a small independent residential home, which has a great reputation and has undertaken a new extension and refurbishment.
The Successful Candidate:
You will be an experienced Care Assistant with a background in elderly care who is looking to work in a smaller home and have a closer and more personable relationship with residents.
The Shift Pattern:
Below are the shift patterns available, where you will be put into. This will be on a part time basis and be discussed at interview.
Nightshift - 08.00pm - 08.00am
Essential :
Experience in working within a Residential Home and working with older adults in a similar setting
Must be assertive and organised with good leadership skills
Level 2/3 NVQ Health and Social Care is desired.
Knowledge and awareness, among others, of the Fundamental Standards of Quality & Safety, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, other safeguarding issues, person-centred planning and relevant legislation
Enthusiastic with great communication and interpersonal skills, both written & verbal English.
Desirable:
Level 3 NVQ Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience of working with Alzheimer's/Dementia
