Staff Management Manage the induction process for new staff, ensuring seamless integration into the Network team. Develop and maintain a comprehensive induction programme, including training, mentorship, and ongoing support. Ensure line managers across the Network effectively manage staff and adhere to HR policies. Provide direct line management to key team members, including regular supervision, feedback, and performance appraisals. Support the Network Manager in monitoring staff performance, addressing challenges proactively, and fostering a positive work environment, deputising for the Network Manager as appropriate. Project Management Plan, coordinate, and deliver key projects, including but not limited to, COVID vaccination campaigns and Improving Patient Outcomes (IPO) projects. Develop, implement, and deliver initiatives to improve patient access, including Same Day Access and an in-house Enhanced Access service, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction goals as such projects arise. Monitor project milestones, budgets, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with PCN strategic priorities. Prepare project documentation, including plans, timelines, budgets, and reports for leadership review.Strategy Development Collaborate with the Network Manager to develop and implement key strategies for the PCN, including: Vaccines Strategy: Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of vaccination programmes, ensuring accessibility and high uptake across the community. Communications Strategy: Support the design and delivery of an effective internal and external communications strategy to enhance stakeholder engagement, team collaboration, and patient awareness. Take a proactive role in identifying and building relationships with new and existing partners, working under the direction of the Network Manager, to develop and deliver initiatives that align with the PCNs strategic objectives and broader healthcare priorities. Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance service delivery and meet PCN priorities. Performance Management Lead the development and implementation of a robust performance reporting system for ARRS staff, ensuring regular and accurate activity reporting to the Network 1 Board. Establish clear metrics for staff activity and outputs, ensuring alignment with Network objectives. Regularly review performance data, identifying trends, highlighting achievements, and addressing areas requiring improvement. Ensure Network performance objectives and KPIs are met, implementing improvement plans where necessary. Organisational Development Support and lead where appropriate the development and implementation of the Networks organisational strategy, promoting continuous improvement and innovation. Coordinate and lead as appropriate, team-building activities, including away days and training workshops, to enhance collaboration and team performance. Governance and Compliance Ensure adherence to high standards of governance, including risk management and compliance with policies. Lead development of and maintain oversight of all Network protocols, providing guidance and updates to staff. Monitor compliance with data protection, health and safety, and equality and diversity policies. Partnership Working and Communication Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of Network objectives. Represent the Network in external forums, advocating for its goals and vision. Promote effective communication within the team and across the Network, fostering collaboration and shared understanding.
