Fundraising Manager
Location: Southampton, Hampshire (On-site) Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum
Role: Full-Time, Permanent
The Opportunity: Lead, Grow, and Empower
Following five years of phenomenal growth, this unique national health charity is ready to scale its impact even further. Providing vital outreach services to the UK’s most vulnerable members of society, they are now looking for a Fundraising Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy and "sleeves-up" delivery.
This isn't just a management role; it is a pivotal leadership position. As the right-hand to the Head of Fundraising, you will deputise for them, mentor a talented team, and play a defining role in shaping a multi-stream income strategy that changes lives.

The Role: Strategic Support & Hands-On Impact
We are looking for a "fundraiser’s fundraiser"—someone who loves the craft of securing income as much as they love developing people. Your mission will include:
• Leadership & Mentorship: Providing day-to-day management for a friendly team, leading by example to foster a high-performing, supportive culture.
• Strategic Growth: Working closely with the Head of Fundraising to deliver ambitious objectives and identify new, costed opportunities for income.
• Bid Excellence: Supporting the production of first-class Trust and Grant applications, offering your expert "pen" to ensure every bid is a winner.
• Diversification: Partnering with Corporate, Digital, and Community leads to expand our footprint and reach new audiences.
________________________________________
About You: A Creative & Confident Leader
You are likely an experienced Fundraising Manager at a national charity, ready to step into a role with more autonomy and seniority. You will bring:
• Versatility: Proven success across multiple streams (Trusts, Corporate, or Individual Giving).
• The "Coach" Mindset: A genuine passion for training and developing team members to reach their full potential.
• Exceptional Communication: Whether you’re writing a complex six-figure report or speaking at a national event, your voice is persuasive and professional.
• Strategic Agility: You don’t just have ideas; you have workable plans that grow income sustainably.
