Take ownership of operational decision-making across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
Manage P&L, cash flow, and working capital with a practical, SME mindset
Turn strategic intent into clear actions on the shop floor
Operations & Manufacturing (Hands-On)
Be highly visible on the shop floor, supporting teams and resolving issues in real time
Oversee SMT, through-hole, box build, test, and final assembly operations
Drive delivery performance, productivity, and quality through direct involvement
Lead NPI, customer introductions, and process changes from concept to production
Balance short-term firefighting with longer-term improvement

Personally own customer quality performance and key escalations
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001
Lead audits, investigations, and corrective actions in a practical, proportionate way
Supply Chain & Planning
Actively manage suppliers, shortages, lead times, and material risk
Make pragmatic trade-offs between cost, delivery, and customer expectations
Ensure inventory and planning decisions support cash and service levels
Customer & Commercial Involvement
Be the senior operational contact for key customers
Support quoting, pricing decisions, and contract reviews
Help the Founder grow the business through strong delivery and trusted customer relationships
