Support health promotion and prevention activities, including smoking cessation, weight management, and lifestyle interventions. Work within a Multi-Disciplinary Team to support patients with long-term conditions and health inequalities NHS health checks / Weight Management ECG recording Phlebotomy INRs Warfarin Management Assist with Learning Disability and Mental Health annual reviews Play a key role in vaccination and immunisation programmes Chaperoning duties Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses Maintenance of surgical equipment Cleaning of clinical areas within remit of role Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor operations Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being At all times, observes infection control procedures and protocols to protect patients, colleagues and themselves. Other Tasks: To undertake any other reasonable duty commensurate to the position that is requested.
