Summary

Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a full-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 23rd February 2026 and continuing until 24th July 2026. This position would suit a reliable and proactive teaching assistant who is confident supporting pupils across the classroom and contributing positively to day-to-day school life.

What You’ll Be Doing

Support teaching and learning activities across the EYFS classroom

Assist with planning and preparation of classroom resources

Promote positive behaviour and engagement among pupils

Deliver intervention activities as directed by the class teacher

Supervise pupils during lunch, break, and other school activities

Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teaching staff as needed

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary or EYFS setting

Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, reliability, and a proactive attitude

Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Pay
£13.70 – £14.95 per hour
