• A person with a passion for working with children, who understands the importance of learning through play to develop the child as a whole

• Commitment to working in partnership with parents and other professionals
• An individual who is able to manage colleagues effectively
• A person who is supportive of the school’s Catholic ethos and will commit to the wider life of the school
• A person with a passionate belief in the inclusion of all children and the ability to respond to the challenge of inclusion
• An individual who has the skills required for effective team and partnership work

Further details about the role
We offer wraparound childcare before school from 8.00am and after school until 6.00pm on every school day during term-time. It is an essential part of our offer to parents.
The Link is the name for our after school club. The club is open only to children at the school and is run by staff employed by the school. The Link runs from 3.15pm until 6.00pm and has 20 places. The club offers a range of activities including outdoor play, board games, films, crafts, support with homework, computer games and chill out areas. A light snack (sandwiches, toasties, fruit, crackers) is included.

Successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check and other checks in line with current Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance.
