Job Title: SEND Functional Skills Tutor
Location: Rochdale, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £30 per hour
Contract: Flexible / Ongoing Opportunities Available

Our client, a leading provider of educational services, is seeking a passionate and experienced SEND Functional Skills Tutor to join their dynamic team in Rochdale, Lancashire.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled educator who is committed to transforming the lives of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through high-quality, personalised Functional Skills teaching.

As a SEND Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging, tailored lessons that support both the academic progress and personal development of a diverse cohort of learners.

You will:

Plan and deliver high-quality Functional Skills sessions (English and/or Maths) tailored to individual learner needs

Design and implement personalised learning plans aligned with EHCP outcomes where appropriate

Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet a wide range of learning needs, from mild learning difficulties to more complex SEND profiles

To be considered, you will have:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
