Reception Year Teaching Assistant - Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

- Work as one of two adults supporting a non‑verbal child with ASD on a part‑time timetable
- Support the child's communication, emotional regulation, and engagement for 90 minutes per day
- Deliver EYFS and Year 1 interventions for the remainder of the school day
- Assist with early literacy, numeracy, phonics, play‑based and structured learning
- Use personalised approaches, visual supports, and sensory strategies
- Collaborate with class teachers, SEND staff, and wider support teams
- Help prepare resources, manage transitions, and maintain consistent routines
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil well‑being

- Strong SEND experience, especially supporting non‑verbal children
- Confident working with ASD and early developmental approaches
