JOB DETAILS Job Title : Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner Reports to: Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinical Service Manager Band: 8a (Subject to Review) Department: Physiotherapy Location : Cross Site JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY To lead the clinical development of this specialist team. You will be required to ensure effective communication is maintained at all times, whilst providing training, support, supervision and clinical expertise to qualified and unqualified staff and students. Be accountable for the clinical standards, evidence based practice and quality metrics within the speciality. Including the evaluation of the service against national and local guidelines and frameworks. To take a lead role in the advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the most highly complex caseload within this specialist field using both advanced physiotherapeutic skills and skills which may have traditionally been undertaken by medics. Report into the Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinical Service Manager and Clinical Specialist Urogynaecology Physiotherapists to ensure the appropriate training, education and clinical support is offered to services supporting the delivery of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Pathway. To lead and support audit, patient engagement and research projects, in relation to Pelvic Health services in order to advance service delivery.
